Silent Treatment

My infection has moved to my larynx and I am now afflicted with mild laryngitis. I have been instructed not to speak. Not an easy feat for a Chatty Cathy like myself, especially in the service industry.

But it is what it is, and hopefully with enough non verbal days, I will be back to babbling incessantly in no time.
In the meantime, it is an interesting lesson this silence. It has made me more perceptive and, more importantly, made me a better listener (if only temporarily).

So, if y'all don't feel like conversation, but need to get something of your chest give me a call.

I'm All Ears.

Hi sweetie! Silence is pretty interesting huh? We really learn alot from it. I remember being in silence for a month as part of a meditation process and it was amazing how much energy and clarity it gave me. We really do use up alot of our batteries with speech- especially the unnecessary kind. I hope you enjoy this time... AND...it will be SO FUN to talk again!! Love, Mom Marie
