Bio Baby, Bio.

After months of searching, calling, not getting called back and being all around irritated by flaky people with a serious cases of "Carolina Time"-I am happy to announce that Dustin and I are now the proud owners of a 1983 Mercedes Benz Turbo Diesel!!!
It ain't pretty but it runs and, being the hippies that we are, we are planning on running it on bio-diesel. Yes, the granola of diesels is plentiful in Asheville. You can drive right up to the pump as if were filled with the typical petroleum products and pump away! So, not only will we be riding in a BENZ, albeit an ugly one, we'll be filling the air with less harmful fumes and thereby making ourselves feel like earth loving, responsible citizens.

I shall be posting a picture of our fabulous new ride as soon as we actually get it to our house. (I could write a whole other blog about the evils of the North Carolina DMV. It makes Oregon's look like a shining example of efficiency)
I think I shall name her Mabel.
