Minute by minute.

Minute by minute it is brightening. Slowly but surely the sun is revealing himself to us.
Every dark and bleak day, the daylight grows with our desire for it. As if dancing in a slow and sensual burlesque show, inch by inch, day by day more and more is exposed.
The landscape begs for nourishment and ever so slightly, the sun obliges, giving one more centimeter of white, hot light.
The stark trees branches reach up and plead for it. By summer time they will be fat and green with pleasure.
Today was a tease. The sky was blue and flirtatious. The grass a throbbing green. When I closed my eyes I could smell mown grass, and taste a Corona on my lips.
It's too early for spring fever, I remind myself.
Embrace the Cold.

It's interesting to me that every winter we must remind ourselves to embrace the cold and gray and wet. I figured that one day I'd get old enough and it'd become easier... hasn't happened yet.
Hang in there... spring will inevitably spring up... some day.
