Birthday

Yesterday was my 29th birthday and although it was the coldest, rainiest day out of the month (of course it would be for this Oregon girl...) I was surrounded by nothing but warm love and generosity all night long.

We grilled out on the front porch in the drizzle, drank wine, ate red velvet cake, played music, danced, laughed, cried and rocked a Sunday night till 3am.

Thank you friends and family who made my day so special. Thank you Dustin for the red roses and the card that made me cry. As I write this they are sitting on the desk, surrounded by other flowers and the heavenly aroma of peonies.

This year of my life is going to be special, amazing, life changing and heart opening. It has already begun.
I am so blessed....

Oh dear Selene, - I was with you in spirit. Your few words in this blog said it all. I was hoping that you write a word or two about your birthday celebration. Your photo's on facebook kept me in the loop, but your words brought me right into the bullseye of your birthday celebration. I love you, Selene. And I celebrate your presence in all our lives.

I just flashed on that I had went up to, where was it, - some orchard up by the White Salmon River,- I could be so wrong, certainly though close to the base of that big mountain, - I want to call your Mom and ask her- it's amazing how one simple cocktail that create a memory void,- what I do remember is that I stayed for several days waiting for your arrival- a week at least, and I did a lot of cleaning preparing for your arrival. It seems like you came into this world three days after I left. I so wish that circumstances would of allowed me to stay longer to witness your birth and to support your Mom in the process. Your birthday is alway a special day in my life, and I feel so blessed to know you, and I send you every good wish in the universe. Krystal
