Never in my lifetime have I been so excited over a presidential election. I didn't think I could get this excited over politics. But, last night I literally screamed with delight!
This is the first time since I have been eligible to vote that George Bush didn't win the presidency.
Dustin, myself and a group of friends celebrated enthusiastically last night and it is the most welcome hangover I have ever had.

Yes!!!! Victory for our nation, and the world. I am so relieved, and very happy. Now we can restore the fractured relationships with the international community. I feel a huge weight lifted, and a new sense of hope. Hooray!

I marvel at how the cosmic scheme of things works! Sometimes it has to get really bad before people wake up. Thank God for Barak's victory, everyone's victory. What a job he has before him and how much good work the people have ahead to support a rebirth of our ideals and spread the blessings to ALL people. Makes me want to run out and volunteer! It's going to take us all. I'm so happy for your generation- that you are finally getting some GOOD political juice!!
