Yearning.

The feeling is slowly returning to my tongue after the last part of my root canal was finished today. I am taking a break from my homework: a narrative essay. I have chosen the topic of India. I have so many stories stored up in my memory of this lovely place, waiting to be released. When I close my eyes I see nothing but color. Colors of saris, of kumkum piled high in the bazaars. The smell of the trains, the mountains, the deserts and the oceans. It fills me with desire to return, to hop on a plane and be there tomorrow in that exotic and amazing place. There are so many adventures still waiting for me there.
But I shall have to wait. To be content, for now, with my memories, still vast and vibrant in my mind. I will write them down on paper and be carried there in thought, as the cool, grey North Carolina day stares at me through the window . Yes I shall have to wait...for now.

Notice you take time to pop over to my blog now and then. The photo of myself somehow reminds me of you? No offense meant. Love your India rambles. How's school?

Thank you for bringing a taste of India into my life, so much color in your words and the photo's,-a very nice boost on this gray rainy morning here in Portland.

I'm glad to know the tooth saga is coming to an end. Yeah!

Big love,

Krystal

Love those India pics! And... very glad to see you are digging back into all your India material. Those letters were priceless and I still think they will someday make a very fine book of stories. They are well worth the effort to publish.

Hugs to you both- we miss you!
Love, Mom Marie
