Something about the twinkle......

The icey, cold air outside billows around the leafless trees and the sky is immaculately clear. I love these days. It feels as if I am in Colorado-if only there were snow. The xmas lights have made their debut and the nights now twinkle with spirit. I dont enjoy the shopping of xmas time, or the financial destruction and stress it brings. But, I admit that I enjoy the twinkles, the sparkles, the jingles and the anticipation in a child's eyes. I know most of us cant wait for it to be over, but there is something about these icey nights and twinkling lights that gets me giddy.
But no Christmas Carols please.
